WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?

The month of May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. This concert festival is being presented by Private Internet Access & Comcast | NBCUniversal, and being produced for the City of Los Angeles in tandem with L.A. City Councilman David Ryu (CD4), Pacific Bridge Arts Foundation, and International Secret Agents, in celebration of the achievements, contributions, and rich diversity of the Asian Pacific American community.  The event will feature a concert with some of the top names in Asian International + Asian American music as well as a ceremony honoring some of the top leaders + innovators within Los Angeles.  The event is for everyone and we hope to celebrate this occasion as one community!

WHO IS PERFORMING? WHEN ARE THEY PERFORMING

We’re excited to welcome Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park, Jay Park, Hoody, Hotel Garuda, Milck, Kinjaz, The Flavr Blue, Ruby Ibarra, G Yamazawa, DJ ZO, and more to the line up!

When are they performing? You’ll have to show up early the day of the event to make sure you see everyone you want :)

WHERE CAN I GET TICKETS / HOW DO I RSVP?

There are no tickets for events! There will be several locations to line up the day of  – however it will be first come, first served day off the event. We’ll announce how to get into festival soon.

HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?

It’s Free!

CAN I COME AND GO WHENEVER I’D LIKE?

Yes! However after you leave we cannot guarantee you’ll be able to get back into venue if we’re at capacity

WHERE IS THIS EXACTLY?

The address is 200 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.  The concert will be on the steps of City Hall in Downtown Los Angeles and will spread into Grand Park across the street.

SHOULD I TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OR RIDE SERVICES?

Although there is public parking in various locations in downtown, we HIGHLY suggest taking public transportation such as the Metro / Uber / Lyft / etc.

WILL THERE BE FOOD OR WATER?

Yes, we will have a large open IDENTITY EATS space curated by Chef Roy Choi with food trucks that you can purchase food and drinks.

CAN WE BRING IN OUR OWN WATER OR BOTTLES?

You can bring plastic or metal water bottles as long as they are empty. No open containers (e.g. half consumed bottle of soda or water).

CAN WE BRING IN BAGS?

Yes! But all bags will be searched before entrance.

CAN WE BRING IN CHAIRS OR LAWN MATS?

No

CAN WE MEET ANY OF THE ARTISTS?

Unfortunately there are no artist meet & greets currently scheduled. However stay tuned to social media and event page as special artist or celebrity guest meet & greets may take place.

WHAT ABOUT SELFIE STICKS?

No selfie sticks. These will be confiscated if you try to bring in.

CAN WE VOLUNTEER?

Unfortunately we are at our limit for volunteers. Just come and enjoy yourself!

CAN WE BRING IN PETS?

Service animals will be allowed. Otherwise – no pets please!

I ARRIVED EARLY, DO I GET GUARANTEED SPOT NEAR STAGE?

The event will always be first come, first serve throughout the day. Unfortunately there is NO way to guarantee position at front of stage if you leave.  No one can save a position at the front of the stage.

WILL THERE BE VENDORS?

There will be lots of local vendors selling Merch, Art, and More! Be sure to support them the day of the event!
