FRIENDS! We are PROUD to announce IDENTITY LA: A Concert & Celebration for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Presented by Council Member David Ryu (CD 4) and International Secret Agents (ISAtv) - IDENTITY LA Music Festival is a FREE public concert highlighting Los Angeles’ vibrant Asian Pacific American (APA) history as well as showcasing APA’s contributions in shaping the social, cultural, and economic future in Los Angeles.
Full Line Up Announced (04/12/17): Dean, Us The Duo, Giraffage, starRo, Year of the Ox, Kronika, Doctors & Engineers, Dj Zo, Tenelle, MISO, SAAY, 2xxx!, and other special guests!
Official Host Line Up: Wong Fu Productions, Far East Movement, NBC4 Meteorologist Shanna Mendiola, Brooklyn Shanti, Dia Frampton, and Khalif Boyd!
This high-energy music festival will feature an evening of live performances by internationally renowned APA artists and entertainers, award ceremony, food trucks and more. The lineup features a mix of hip-hop, R&B, and pop music as artists perform live at Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles.

1. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION - We HIGHLY recommend taking public transportation as downtown may be highly congested the day of. Look at our METRO Map for where to get dropped off! To get more info for specific rides please visit https://www.metro.net/
2. RIDE SHARE - We do recommend using RIDE Share for safe + easy rides to Grand Park / City Hall.
3. UBER DISCOUNT CODE - Our friends at UBER have created a discount code for THE DAY OF on May 6th. BY using “IdentityLA2017″ – This code will give up to $2 off of each ride (up to 2 per user so they can get to/from the event).

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?
The month of May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. This concert festival is being presented by Councilmember David Ryu, International Secret Agents, and the City of Los Angeles in celebration of the achievements, contributions, and rich diversity of the Asian Pacific American community. The event will feature a concert with some of the top names in Asian International + Asian American music as well as a ceremony honoring some of the top leaders + innovators within Los Angeles. The event is for everyone and we hope to celebrate this occasion as one community!
WHERE CAN I GET TICKETS?
There are no tickets for events! There will be several locations to line up the day of – however it will be first come, first served day off the event. We do recommend coming earlier to ensure entrance.
HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
It’s Free!
CAN I COME AND GO WHENEVER I’D LIKE?
Yes! However after you leave we can’t guarantee you’ll be able to get back into venue if we’re at capacity
WHERE IS THIS EXACTLY?
The address is 200 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The concert will be on the steps of City Hall in Downtown Los Angeles and will spread into Grand Park across the street.
HOW DO WE RSVP? DO WE NEED THIS TO GET IN?
There is no RSVP. If you RSVP it won’t get you in earlier or guarantee you a spot.

WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
We recommend arriving early to find public parking. There is no FREE parking the day of event – however a number of paid lots near by. We will be posting parking locations soon to help!
SHOULD I TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OR RIDE SERVICES?
We HIGHLY suggest taking public transportation such as the Metro / Uber / Lyft / Etc
WILL THERE BE FOOD OR WATER?
Yes, we will have multiple food trucks that you can purchase food and drinks.
CAN WE BRING IN OUR OWN WATER OR BOTTLES?
You can bring plastic or metal water bottles as long as they are empty. No open containers (e.g. half consumed bottle of soda or water).
CAN WE BRING IN BAGS?
Yes! But all bags will be searched before entrance.
CAN WE BRING IN CHAIRS OR LAWN MATS?
No!
CAN WE BRING IN DSLR/PROFESSIONAL CAMERAS?
Professional cameras will be allowed.
CAN WE MEET ANY OF THE ARTISTS?
Unfortunately not!
IS THERE A PLACE TO GET DROPPED OFF?
Main + Spring street will be closed off between 1st and Temple street. We recommend getting dropped off near by as traffic will be heavy in those direct areas.
WHAT ABOUT SELFIE STICKS?
No selfie sticks. These will be confiscated if you try to bring in.
CAN WE FLY DRONES?
No.

Service animals will be allowed. Otherwise – no pets please!
I ARRIVED EARLY, DO I GET GUARANTEED SPOT NEAR STAGE?
The event will always be first come, first serve throughout the day. Unfortunately there is NO way to guarantee position at front of stage if you leave. No one can save a position at the front of the stage.
